a sense of safety

The new moon in Cancer invites us to commit to things that cultivate positive Cancer qualities, such as honoring ourselves - our feelings, our needs, our desires, and our intentions. We focus on the things that help us to feel a sense of safety, security, comfort, and feeling at home in our bodies, our lives, and in our relationships. We allow ourselves to be supported and to offer support to others when we can, all in the interest of deepening our feeling at home and secure within ourselves and our bodies. We may make decisions and shifts in our lives at this time that are geared toward creating more harmonious relationships and home lives. We may feel drawn during this time to gardening, cooking, or even painting our homes, bringing more feelings of delight and ease. We need to be aware of the more complex energy from Pluto at this time that may have us push or overdo things as a result of fear. The best antidote to this is embodiment and mindfulness.
