I Trust Myself
Today I trust myself to be able
to tolerate the discomfort
of my intense emotions and physical sensations.
As I learn to sit with what arises in my mind and body
from moment to moment
without running away or fighting,
I build more capacity to handle the
challenges that life brings my way.
When challenging physical sensations
or emotional states arise,
I no longer allow them to dictate my actions
and control my life.
Instead, when I feel challenged,
I do my best to pause, breathe,
and ground myself in the present moment,
offering myself compassion and kindness.
Each time I do this, I reclaim more of my power from my painful past.
